4.1 Setting Up the Configuration Environment

Connect a PC to the switch's Ethernet port using an Ethernet cable.

Connecting the Cable

l Connect the one end (RJ45 port) of the network cable to the network port of the PC.

l Connect the other end (RJ45 port) of the network cable to any Ethernet port of the switch.
